About Me
Hi, I’m Katie — a life coach, parent educator, and mindset mentor with a passion for helping families grow strong from the inside out.
I believe confidence, calm, and connection aren’t just hopes — they’re skills we can teach, practice, and nurture. That belief led me to create Plant a Picture Coaching, where I help kids build self-esteem, parents practice mindful connection, and families grow healthier together.
My path has blended creativity, science, and soul: a BFA in Film & Television Production, a Master’s-level background in Nutrition, certifications in fitness, nutrition, and parenting, and years as a distance runner building resilience and mind-body awareness. But my deepest transformation has come from parenting and homeschooling my two daughters—where I’ve lived and practiced the very tools I now share: growth mindset, emotional regulation, and resilience.
I am a Certified WISDOM Coach® for Children, Certified Mindful Parenting Coach, and trained in growth mindset and social-emotional learning. My coaching specializes in:
Building self-esteem and confidence in kids
Teaching mindset tools to reduce fear and anxiety
Guiding parents in mindful, skillful practices
Supporting healthier family dynamics
At Plant a Picture Coaching, I combine mindset coaching, emotional wellness, and practical tools that families can use every day. My approach is holistic, drawing on both my coaching and wellness background, to support parents and children inside and out.
Whether we’re building your child’s confidence or helping you parent with more peace and clarity, my mission is simple: to help you plant the picture of the life you want — and watch it grow.
